Inverary and District, under Pipe Major Stuart Liddell MBE, are the new World Pipe Band Champions. They were placed first ahead of Field Marshal Montgomery at Glasgow Green. Inveraray also took the Drumming Medley title. This was the third time Inveraray have won the Worlds.
In a very successful year the band also won the Overall piping and drumming awards.
